Dave Hill Wannabe

Tutorial ini haku cedok dari forum photoskool.net . dimana penulis tutorial neh amek dari sebuah website lain sebelum dialih bahasa sedikit (rujuk Original Link dibawah.). Tutorial ini bukan nak edit gambar supaya jadi 100% sama ngan mamat Dave Hill tu. Mamat tu memang gile otai dalam bab – bab gambar seperti ini. Tutorial ini cuma mengajar kita mengedit gambar supaya kelihatan ala – ala Dave Hill.

1. Anda perlulah memulakannya dengan gambar yang mempunyai pencahayaan disekeliling subject ataupun lighting yang ketara pada gambar.

2. Pastikan level dan color diubahsuai pd original photo sebelum anda bermula dengan teknik Dave Hill.

3. Peringkat Satu

a) Duplicate layer pada LAYER pallette

b) Go to FILTER – OTHER – HIGH PASS type 4.0 for RADIUS

c) Pada LAYERS pallette pilih vivid light for the blending mode

d) Kemudian, Flatten the image. (Tinggal satu je layer time nih, – the flatten image)

4. Peringkat Dua

a) Duplicate the layer on the LAYER pallette (layer yang flatten dpd peringkat satu tadi)

b) Go to FILTER – OTHER – HIGH PASS type 6.9 for RADIUS

on the LAYERS pallette choose color for the blending mode

c) Set opacity to 40%

d) Now flatten the image.

5. Peringkat Tiga

a) DUPLICATE LAYER on layer pallette

b) FILTER – BLUR – GAUSSIAN BLUR 9.5 pixels

c) FILTER – NOISE – ADD NOISE 3%

d) From the top menu select LAYER – ADD LAYER MASK – HIDE ALL

e) Using the lasso tool select only the eyes and choose SELECT – FEATHER about 6pixels

f) Choose SELECT – INVERSE

g) Now use the brush on the tool pallette and set the brush opacity to 30% – brush over the entire image

h) Now FLATTEN the image

6. Pringkat Akhir (Sharpen the image)

a) Go to FILTER – SHARPEN – UNSHARP MASK

b) use the following settings (my setting):
AMOUNT 100%
RADIUS 35.6 pixels
THRESHOLD 0

Editting ini adalah utk menciptakan highlights pd image. Tutorial ini adalah utk Hi Resolution image. Sekiranya anda menggunakan low res photo, anda perlu mengurangkan jumlah amount filter etc d atas.

Bila dah cuba jaya tutorial nih, boleh la buat experiment nak ikut citarasa sendiri…
